CoreSquares is a chess platform that unifies your data from Chess.com, Lichess, USCF, and FIDE into a single profile. You can search for any player and see their ratings, games, opening patterns, and playing style analytics all in one place.
Click Register on the homepage, enter your email and a password, then verify your email through the confirmation link we send you. Once verified, you can log in and start using all features.
Go to Settings after logging in. Enter your Chess.com username and CoreSquares will verify it through the Chess.com API. For Lichess, you can connect via OAuth for a seamless link. Once linked, your games will sync automatically.
A Deep Scan fetches a player's complete game history from Chess.com and Lichess, then runs a comprehensive analysis. It generates attribute scores (Attack, Defense, Time Management, Mental Resilience), opening patterns, psychological tendencies, and a Chess DNA play style profile.
Free accounts get 3 Deep Scans per month and 5 opening queries per day. Silver ($5/month) adds 15 scans, unlimited opening queries, and removes ads. Gold ($10/month) adds unlimited scans, opponent scouting, and matchup analysis. Platinum ($18/month) adds PDF export. A Lifetime plan is available for $249.

Go to Settings and click Manage Subscription. This opens the Stripe customer portal where you can change your plan, update payment info, or cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Free-tier Deep Scans require the target player to have an account at least 30 days old with 25 or more rated games. This ensures there is enough data for a meaningful analysis and prevents misuse of the scan system.
